This category includes all herbal teas made from medicinal herbs, as it is a genuine remedy for the body and for treating, in fact, some mild diseases; one of the plants most used for this purpose, as well as an aromatic herb, is the lemon balm, known for its beneficial properties that can counteract nervousness, insomnia, restlessness, stress and agitation of various kinds, coming to reconcile sleep and well-being psycho-physical, to the point of calming real states of anxiety. Specifically, the extract of lemon balm derives from both the leaves and the flower itself, or from the flowered apexes from which the essential oil that can be used for different types of massage is also extractable; below, some recipes to get delicious herbal teas made from lemon balm, but with a few more ingredients, able to give real moments of pampering to anyone who wishes. First of all, it must be specified that all extracts of medicinal plants can be purchased in all the most common herbalist's shops.

Let's start with the first and simplest recipe for herbal tea with lemon balm, without variations of any kind: firstly equip yourself with a small saucepan, a small filter and some dried lemon balm purchased previously in herbal medicine. Fill the pan with 500 ml of water and bring it to the boil; once the water has started to boil, pour two tablespoons of lemon balm and continue to boil for another three minutes, then remove from heat and let stand for another ten minutes. Complete the herbal tea by filtering it with a sieve, so that the lemon balm leaves are separated from the actual herbal tea; add, as desired, a tablespoon of honey and consume it preferably a few hours before going to bed.

With a strong purifying character, the herbal tea based on melissa, fennel and licorice is an excellent ally to eliminate skin toxins and purify the whole body in a deep and natural way. Boil 500 ml of water and add a tablespoon of dried lemon balm leaves, a tablespoon of fennel and a licorice stick, all ingredients found in herbal medicine; cook for three minutes and leave to infuse for ten minutes with the heat off. With the help of a strainer, filter all the leaves and drink this special herbal tea throughout the day, so as to favor diuresis and, therefore, the purification of the organism.
