In a garden, the flower beds should be set up with particular care, trying to choose plants that are well-suited to each other both from the point of view of color and color matching and from the point of view of respecting their needs.
You can create flower beds or just green, using different varieties:
- shrubby plants
- herbaceous plants
- evergreen plants
- flowering plants.
It is always useful to take into consideration some preventive aspects, namely:

ROSE



It is a flowering plant, very decorative, which, due to its good adaptability, is among the most widespread in gardens.
It has an erect stem, stiff, with thorns, dark green.
The leaves are oval, with a continuous or serrated edge, inserted (in groups of 3 or 5) on thorny twigs
The flowers have corollas with distinct petals, of a fleshy consistency, with a continuous margin, with intense and variable colors between white, pink, red and purple, characterized by an intense and very pleasant aroma.
Flowering begins at the beginning of spring and continues until the summer, reaching its maximum development in May.
It requires a soft and well drained soil, possibly enriched with peat and humus.
It must be exposed in very sunny areas as it needs a good solar radiation to be able to bloom; prefers temperate and mild climates and fears the cold.
Water must be watered frequently in the warm months, always keeping the soil moist.
It is advisable to carry out two annual fertilization cycles, using specific fertilizer for flowering plants.

BEGONIA



It is a flowery and ornamental succulent plant.
Presents a succulent stem, of medium-low height, from 25 to 40 cm. Of intense green color
The leaves are fleshy, rounded, with a continuous margin, green or reddish depending on the variety, and are edible for humans.
The male flowers are clearly visible, white, pink or red, while the female ones are almost insignificant.
The fruits are small triangular capsules of leathery consistency.
It requires fertile and well-drained soils, rich in organic material and peat.
It must be exposed in well-lit places, but cannot withstand direct sunlight.
It prefers mild climates and fears the cold.
We must water often during the warm months.

It is a flowery, ornamental herbaceous plant.
The barrel is robust, straight, up to 80 90 cm high. of an intense and branched green color.
The leaves are elongated and lanceolate, of an intense green color, with continuous margins and with an alternate insertion.
The flowers, gathered in flower head inflorescences, have a corolla made up of petals with irregular margins and gathered in a more external crown of sterile and large specimens and an inner one with fertile small specimens.
They have a typically blue and bluish color, although there are varieties of white and pink, always very fragrant.
The flowering is prolonged throughout the spring and even part of the summer, and is very rich.
The fruit is an acheno with a feathered appendage.
It requires a soft and well drained soil, enriched with organic material and sand.
Being a resistant plant, it adapts well to any type of climate, even if it prefers mild temperatures, and bright environments with good sun exposure.

LAVENDER


It is a herbaceous or bushy plant, evergreen, flowery and aromatic, ornamental, belonging to the Mediterranean scrub.
It has slender stems, up to 1 meter high, silvery green.
The leaves are narrow and elongated, of silvery green color, with alternate insertion.
The flowers are very small and gathered in spike inflorescences, purplish, very fragrant.
It is a well adaptable plant, which forms thick tufts, and which is used in the creation of fragrant flower beds,
It lives well on any terrain and in any climate as it is a fast-growing rustic species.
