  2. After washing the berries, let them dry.
  3. The jam mixture should not be overcooked, otherwise the berries will wrinkle, lose color and be tough and tasteless.
  4. To preserve as much vitamin C as possible, it is necessary to use a gentle method: the mixture is only brought to a boil and turned off, and then it needs to cool for 5 hours. We do this at least 4 times.
  5. The technology of easy removal of seeds from berries during cooking: we press on the berry with the bottom of the glass, since it is soft - the bone pops out.

Dogwood jam

Crumpled, overripe berries that are not suitable for jam can be used to make delicious jam.

What we do: we wash the berries, sort them out, take out the seeds. Then we put it in a large basin and pour in a glass of apple or quince juice, boil for 10 minutes, add sugar (1: 1).

The mixture is boiled, stirring constantly, until fully cooked (only 1 time).

How do you know if the jam is ready?

This method can be used not only for dogwood jam, but also for jam from any other berries. We drip cornel jam onto the flat surface of the saucer, turn the saucer vertically and see if it spreads.

As soon as the dogwood jam stops spreading, it is ready.

I will share one secret, it turns out that not everyone knows that you can promote your resource with articles? Come to me and see how other webmasters are already doing it. Write your article (you can take any post from this blog as a basis) with links and add it to my article directory. You have a link to the directory, I will not indicate it here again, because it makes no sense. Registration in catalogs is dying out, or at least losing ground, but the promotion of articles is gaining momentum.
